Year 6 had a fantastic day at the Science Life Centre, packed full of exciting learning and unforgettable experiences!

One of the highlights of the day was taking part in a space workshop. The children discovered what life is like for astronauts by tasting real space food, testing the absorbency of space nappies and even watching a mini rocket launch across the classroom!

The adventure continued in the Planetarium, where the children felt as though they were being launched into space. They enjoyed observing the stars, planets and constellations while learning fascinating facts about our solar system and beyond.

Another favourite part of the visit was The Fossil Show. The children travelled back in time to learn all about dinosaurs, fossils and prehistoric life. They were amazed by the discoveries scientists have made from studying fossils and enjoyed finding out more about some of their favourite dinosaurs.

It was a fabulous, fun-packed day filled with curiosity, discovery and excitement.
