Year 1 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover) 
This is a maternity cover post and will end when the substantive post holder returns.
Required to start 1st September 2026. (We require an established, experienced teacher therefore this vacancy is not suitable for ECT.)

We require an experienced Year 1 teacher, to cover maternity leave, who is an innovative and creative practitioner and has a passion for inspiring young minds. The candidate must have a nurturing, friendly and approachable manner, which embraces our Christian ethos.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Planning, delivering and assessing a broad and balanced curriculum in Year 1

• Creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitoring pupil progress and adapting provision to meet individual needs
• Working effectively as part of a team and contributing to wider school life
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and the wider community
