We have been very excited to launch our new Ready, Steady, Write book, Saving Mr Owl! In this captivating story, Ben discovers an owl, but nobody believes him. We have enjoyed exploring facts about these nocturnal creatures. During Circle Time, the children had some wonderful discussions about what they would do if they found an owl and how they could help care for it. They shared thoughtful ideas and showed great empathy for animals. Using their observational skills, the children also created beautiful owl paintings, carefully studying their features and colours to make their artwork as realistic as possible. It has been a fantastic start to our new book, sparking curiosity, imagination and a love of learning about the natural world!
