What a fantastic start to the year! We have been absolutely delighted with the way our Year 6 children have returned to school, full of determination, positivity and brilliance. They have settled back into school life with such maturity and enthusiasm, and we could not be prouder.
It seems only yesterday that these children joined us as Reception starters in 2020, beginning their school journey during the unprecedented challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. To see them now as confident, capable and inspiring Year 6 pupils is truly special.
Year 6 is such an exciting year, filled with opportunities, responsibilities, challenges and memories that will last a lifetime. It is often the most rewarding, enjoyable and memorable year in primary school, and although July feels a long way off, we all know how quickly it will arrive! We have every confidence that this wonderful group of children will embrace every challenge, make the most of every opportunity and achieve great things.
Ahead lies a year packed with exciting experiences, including buddy responsibilities, the residential visit, school trips, the Leavers' Ball and all the privileges that come with being the oldest children in school. We cannot wait to share this journey with them and celebrate their successes along the way.
Well done, Year 6, on such a brilliant start. Here's to an unforgettable final year at primary school!
